في هذه الصحراء يموت كل شيء، ولا امل في الخروج من هذا الجحيم الرملي والصخري إلا بالعبور من خلال طرق صعبة اختارتها الآلهة بعناية قد تؤدي إلى المزيد من الهلاك. الموت في الصحراء ليس سهلاً وليس رومانسياً كما يعتقده البعض، فهذه الاميال من الجدب والهلاك ليست مرتعاً سوى للاوهام والسراب والقليل من المياه المالحة التي تظهر في مواسم لا يمكن التنبوء بها. على حافة البحر ترى الصحراء تخترق المياه، ليختلط الجدب بالملوحة وتزداد احتمالية الموت بالجفاف امام بحر لم ينتهي بعد من ابتلاع الهاربين من الموت الذي يخترق الاجساد كل لحظة. زرقة البحر المختلطة بزرقة السماء هي ايضاً خدعة اخرى، […]
