In this second episode of Imtidad English, we will be reviewing the new issue of Banipal magazine No 27 Autumn/winter 2006, then we will be presenting Libyan storyteller Ahmed Youssef Aghila, by reading two of his short stories translated from Arabic, and there will be some paintings by artist Mohammed Binlamen.
I am proud also to present Arabic musical pieces performed and organized by Arab American musician Sami Abu Shumays, to whom I extend my thanks for giving me permission to reproduce his music on Imtidad, Sami hosts and produces a Podcast called personal performances, in which presents Arabic music and performers, and focuses on the different aspects and influences in classical and modern Arabic music.
